Tirtha: Sārasvata-jala (episode of raktīkaraṇa)
Type: kund
Listener: Ṛṣayaḥ (sages)
Scene: A circle of sages, hands raised in astonishment, addresses the narrator: they praise Viśvāmitra’s nobility and the mantra-power that turned the water blood-red; the crimson water glows behind them as a miraculous sign.
Mantra-śakti is portrayed as effective and awe-inspiring; spiritual power must be governed by dharma and compassion.
The Sārasvata tīrtha/waters are the implied focus, since the marvel concerns the transformation of that sacred water.
None; it is an exclamation and theological reflection by the sages.
