„Auch jener Mensch wird ein ganzes Jahr lang frei von Krankheit bleiben.“ So sprach die Göttin und entschwand daraufhin dem Blick.
Narrator (reporting Devī’s promise and departure)
Tirtha: Dhārā (Devī)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Tapasvinī (ascetic woman) and by extension future Nāgara pilgrims
Scene: The devotee completes the offering; a luminous Devī form fades into light, leaving the sanctum radiant. The devotee stands in reverent stillness, assured of year-long health.
Divine grace can be time-bound and practical, protecting devotees in worldly life while strengthening faith.
The Devī Dhārā shrine/tīrtha in Nāgarakhaṇḍa where worship yields health-protection (Adhyāya 169).
The promised result reiterates the earlier rite: pradakṣiṇā, fruit-offering, and stotra/nati.
