Transliteration

taddṛṣṭvā ceṣṭitaṃ tasyā rājyārhaṃ bahubhogadhṛk | brāhmaṇārhaiḥ parityaktaṃ samācāraiśca kṛtsnaśaḥ

Translation

Als er ihr Verhalten sah—der Herrschaft würdig und von vielen Genüssen erfüllt—erkannte er, dass es gänzlich der brāhmaṇa-gemäßen Sitten und aller rechten Verhaltensnormen entbehrte.
