इत्येवं बहुधा सोऽपि विललाप सुदुःखितः । स्त्रीचिन्तां बहुधा कृत्वा आत्मानं चाप्यगर्हयत्

ityevaṃ bahudhā so'pi vilalāpa suduḥkhitaḥ | strīcintāṃ bahudhā kṛtvā ātmānaṃ cāpyagarhayat

So klagte er auf vielerlei Weise, tief bekümmert. Immer wieder an die Frau denkend, tadelte er auch sich selbst.
