जना ऊचुः । एको देवः स्थितश्चात्र सद्यःप्रत्ययकारकः । तथैका देवता चात्र श्रूयते जगती तले
janā ūcuḥ | eko devaḥ sthitaścātra sadyaḥpratyayakārakaḥ | tathaikā devatā cātra śrūyate jagatī tale
Die Leute sprachen: «Hier ist ein einziger Deva fest eingesetzt, der sofortige Gewissheit schenkt (durch schnelle, sichtbare Früchte). Und hier, auf dem Antlitz der Erde, wird auch von einer einzigen Devatā, einer besonderen Göttin, berichtet.»
