Transliteration

bhṛṃgavadraṭanaṃ yasmāttasya śrotrasukhā vaham | bhṛṃgīriṭi iti proktastataḥ sa tripurāriṇā

Translation

Weil sein Klang dem Summen einer Biene glich, wohltuend für das Ohr, nannte ihn Tripurāri (Śiva) daher „Bhṛṅgīriṭi“.
