Type: kshetra
Listener: the suvratā pativratā devotee (unnamed)
Scene: Mahādeva speaks directly, compassionate yet majestic, offering any boon to the well-vowed woman; his hand in varada-mudrā, the devotee in reverent posture, the liṅga and pure-water tank nearby.
Śiva’s grace is portrayed as boundless toward the devotee who holds him constantly in the heart.
The verse is part of the kṣetra narrative but does not itself name the tīrtha; it emphasizes the deity’s boon-giving presence at the sacred spot.
No specific rite is prescribed; Śiva invites the devotee to ask for a boon as the fruit of prior observances.
