A divine voice (ākāśavāṇī / sā vāṇī)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A shadowy figure of Death approaches but is pushed back by a radiant boundary emanating from the sanctuary; above, an unseen celestial voice speaks, then the air becomes still as the voice ceases.
The Purāṇic tīrtha is presented as a realm of divine protection where sincere observance draws a safeguarding grace even against death’s approach.
The verse continues the praise of the same unnamed 'auspicious shrine' (āyatana) in the ongoing Nāgarakhaṇḍa Tīrthamāhātmya episode.
No new prescription is added here; it concludes the stated phala of the prior vigil-vrata with a divine proclamation.
