Type: kshetra
Scene: Yama, pleased, gives a formal promise and departs; a subtle transition shows him moving from the earthly shrine-side to the distant, austere grandeur of Yamaloka, symbolizing administrative duty.
Divine boons are granted within a framework of cosmic order—after giving assurance, Dharmarāja resumes his ordained duty.
The narrative belongs to Nāgarakhaṇḍa’s Tīrthamāhātmya; this verse itself does not identify the site.
No new ritual; it records Yama’s assent and departure after granting the stated benefit.
