Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 43

गौरिणीर्भोजयामास मृष्टान्नैर्भोजनै रसैः । तैलक्षारपरित्यक्तैर्गन्धैः कुंकुमपूर्वकैः

gauriṇīrbhojayāmāsa mṛṣṭānnairbhojanai rasaiḥ | tailakṣāraparityaktairgandhaiḥ kuṃkumapūrvakaiḥ

Sie bewirtete die Gaurī verehrenden Frauen mit feinen Speisen, nahrhaften Gerichten und wohlschmeckenden Zubereitungen; und sie verwendete Düfte ohne Öl und ohne alkalische Stoffe, beginnend mit der Darbringung von Kuṅkuma.
