„Ebenso werden die Männer, die meine Gestalt namens Īśānā verehren—selbst wenn ihre Geliebte von üblem Temperament ist—sie gewiss sanft und anmutig werden sehen.“
Śiva (Mahādeva)
Type: temple
Scene: Men worship the Īśāna form of Śiva; the household atmosphere softens, symbolized by a formerly angry beloved becoming calm and radiant.
Devotional worship of the divine Īśānā form is said to transform negativity into gentleness, bringing harmony to household life.
The verse occurs within a Tīrthamāhātmya setting of the Nāgarakhaṇḍa; the snippet itself emphasizes the deity-aspect (Īśānā) rather than naming a single site.
Worship (pūjā/upāsanā) of the Īśānā form is prescribed as the means to obtain the stated fruit.
