याज्ञवल्क्य उवाच । एवं भवतु देवेश यत्त्वयोक्तं वचोऽखिलम् । परं मम वचोऽन्यच्च तच्छृणुष्व ब्रवीमि ते
yājñavalkya uvāca | evaṃ bhavatu deveśa yattvayoktaṃ vaco'khilam | paraṃ mama vaco'nyacca tacchṛṇuṣva bravīmi te
Yājñavalkya sprach: „So sei es, o Herr der Götter; möge alles, was du gesagt hast, sich erfüllen. Doch höre nun auch eine weitere Rede von mir; ich will sie dir vortragen.“
