Transliteration

sūta uvāca | evaṃ samarpitaṃ liṃgaṃ tena taddharasaṃbhavam | sarveṣāṃ brāhmaṇeṃdrāṇāṃ vaṃśocchede sthite dvijāḥ

Sūta sprach: „So wurde jener Liṅga—aus dem Träger hervorgegangen—von ihm anvertraut. O Zweimalgeborene, als die Geschlechter all jener erhabenen Brāhmaṇas an den Rand des Erlöschens gelangt waren…“
