Transliteration

tataḥ sa duḥkhasaṃyuktaḥ phalārthaṃ prayayau vane | na ca kiṃcidavāpnoti sarve śuṣkā mahīruhāḥ

Daraufhin ging er, von Kummer bedrückt, in den Wald, um Früchte zu suchen; doch fand er gar nichts, denn alle Bäume waren verdorrt.
