Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 24
श्रीभगवानुवाच । एतद्रूपं मया शक्र कृतं तस्य वधाय वै । अवध्यः सर्वभूतानां यतोन्येषां मया हतः
śrībhagavānuvāca | etadrūpaṃ mayā śakra kṛtaṃ tasya vadhāya vai | avadhyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ yatonyeṣāṃ mayā hataḥ
Der erhabene Herr sprach: „O Śakra, wahrlich nahm Ich diese Gestalt an, um ihn zu töten; denn für alle Wesen war er unverwundbar—darum wurde er von Mir erschlagen und nicht von anderen.“
