The Ministers (Maṃtriṇaḥ)
Scene: Ministers, calm and authoritative, speak to the king: one gestures toward ritual preparations—fire, vessels, cloth—signaling the shift from grief to rites.
Dharma requires composure and timely performance of duties; grief should be transformed into righteous rites for the departed.
Not specified in this verse.
Perform the ūrdhvadaihika—post-death/funerary rites—without delay and according to proper procedure.
