Transliteration

te mathyamānāstvaritā devāḥ svātmārthasādhakāḥ | abhilāṣaparāḥ sarve na śrṛṇvaṃti yato jaḍāḥ

Doch jene Götter, hastig beim Quirlen und nur auf den eigenen Gewinn bedacht, alle vom Begehren getrieben, hörten nicht zu — so stumpf waren sie.
