प्रातस्तु दर्शनाच्छंभोर्नैशमेनो व्यपोहति । मध्याह्ने दर्शनाच्छंभोः सप्तजन्मार्जितं नृणाम् । पापं प्रणाशमायाति निशायां नैव गण्यते

prātastu darśanācchaṃbhornaiśameno vyapohati | madhyāhne darśanācchaṃbhoḥ saptajanmārjitaṃ nṛṇām | pāpaṃ praṇāśamāyāti niśāyāṃ naiva gaṇyate

Durch das Schauen Śambhus am Morgen werden die Sünden der Nacht hinweggetrieben. Durch das Schauen Śambhus zur Mittagszeit wird die von den Menschen über sieben Geburten angesammelte Schuld vernichtet. Das Verdienst der Nacht aber ist jenseits allen Maßes.
