Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 3

विडंबिता स्वधा तत्र ऋषयश्च विडंबिताः । ववृषुस्ते पुरीषेण वितानाग्नौ रुपान्विताः

viḍaṃbitā svadhā tatra ṛṣayaśca viḍaṃbitāḥ | vavṛṣuste purīṣeṇa vitānāgnau rupānvitāḥ

Dort wurde Svadhā verspottet, und auch die ṛṣi wurden gedemütigt. Jene Gaṇas, die verschiedene Gestalten annahmen, ließen Unrat wie Regen auf das Altarfeuer unter dem Opferbaldachin herabfallen.
