Type: kshetra
Listener: Śaṅkara (Mahādeva)
Scene: A devotee’s repeated offerings are evoked: heaps of flowers, gleaming gems, and the symbolic offering of one’s very life and wealth before Śiva in a Himalayan sanctum.
Devotion becomes complete when offerings include not only objects but one’s whole life and resources.
Kedāra’s Śaiva sacred landscape, where constant worship is celebrated as supremely meritorious.
Regular pūjā with flowers and valuable offerings is described as the devotee’s practice.
