ततः पुरोधा वचनं नन्दिनं चाब्रवीत्तदा । येन विस्खलितं तत्र रत्नादीनां प्रपूजनम् । सोऽपि मूढो न संदेहः कार्याकार्येषु मंदधीः
tataḥ purodhā vacanaṃ nandinaṃ cābravīttadā | yena viskhalitaṃ tatra ratnādīnāṃ prapūjanam | so'pi mūḍho na saṃdehaḥ kāryākāryeṣu maṃdadhīḥ
Da sprach der Priester zu Nandī: „Derjenige, durch den dort die Verehrung — samt Darbringung von Edelsteinen und dergleichen — ins Stocken geriet, ist ohne Zweifel verblendet, von trägem Verstand, unfähig zu unterscheiden, was zu tun und was zu lassen ist.“
