शिवांगणे तु या भेरी स्थापिता पुण्यकर्मभिः । तस्या नादेन पूता वै ये च पापरता जनाः । पाषंडिनोऽप्यसद्वादास्तेऽपि यांति परां गतिम्

śivāṃgaṇe tu yā bherī sthāpitā puṇyakarmabhiḥ | tasyā nādena pūtā vai ye ca pāparatā janāḥ | pāṣaṃḍino'pyasadvādāste'pi yāṃti parāṃ gatim

Die bherī-Trommel, im Hof Śivas durch verdienstvolle Taten aufgestellt—durch ihren Klang werden selbst Sündenverhaftete gereinigt; sogar Häretiker und Verkünder falscher Lehren gelangen zum höchsten Zustand.
