Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 67

देवाश्चिनौ तदाहूय व्याधीन्हंतुं तदा भृतिम् । ददौ ताभ्यां प्रयत्नेन गणयित्वा सुबुद्धिमान्

devāścinau tadāhūya vyādhīnhaṃtuṃ tadā bhṛtim | dadau tābhyāṃ prayatnena gaṇayitvā subuddhimān

Daraufhin rief er die beiden Aśvins herbei und übertrug ihnen, der Hochweise, mit sorgfältiger Abwägung die Aufgabe, jene Krankheiten mit gebührender Anstrengung zu vernichten.
