तत्सर्वं श्रोतुमिच्छामो याथातथ्येन कथ्यताम् । न ह्यन्यो विद्यते लोके त्वद्विना वदतां वरः । तस्मात्कथ भो विप्र सर्वं शुश्रूषतां हि नः
tatsarvaṃ śrotumicchāmo yāthātathyena kathyatām | na hyanyo vidyate loke tvadvinā vadatāṃ varaḥ | tasmātkatha bho vipra sarvaṃ śuśrūṣatāṃ hi naḥ
Wir wünschen all dies zu hören; erzähle es genau, wie es sich zugetragen hat. Denn in dieser Welt gibt es außer dir keinen, der der beste Erzähler wäre. Darum, o Brāhmaṇa, berichte alles; wir sind begierig zu lauschen.
