Transliteration

gṛhānnirgatya sāyāhne puradvārabahiḥ sthitā | vanamārgaṃ prapaśyaṃtī patyurāgamanecchayā

Translation

Am Abend verließ sie das Haus und stellte sich außerhalb des Stadttors auf; sie blickte auf den Waldpfad, in Sehnsucht nach der Rückkehr ihres Gatten.
