Narrator (Sūta/Lomaharṣaṇa, contextually in Māheśvarakhaṇḍa)
Tirtha: Kedārakhaṇḍa mountains (collective)
Type: peak
Scene: Skanda, radiant and youthful, turns toward a circle of anthropomorphic mountains; his expression softens into delight; the moment pauses just before he speaks the boon.
Sincere stuti (praise) offered with devotion draws divine grace and results in blessings for the world.
The setting belongs to Kedārakhaṇḍa’s Himalayan sacred landscape; the verse introduces a boon affecting mountain-tīrthas broadly.
No direct ritual is prescribed here; it establishes the cause—devotional praise—and the consequence—divine boon.
