Lomaśa (Sūta-like narrator) to the Ṛṣis
Tirtha: Liṅga with piṇḍī (bāṇa-liṅga context)
Type: ghat
Listener: Nandī
Scene: A devotee worships Śiva’s liṅga with its piṇḍī according to śāstra; Śiva as Jagannātha is envisioned as granting boons in response to proper worship.
Śiva’s grace is assured when worship follows śāstra—devotion is strengthened by right method (vidhi).
Kedāra/Kedārakṣetra is the implied setting within the Kedārakhaṇḍa’s praise of Śiva worship.
Worship Śiva-liṅga together with its piṇḍī (base/pedestal) and follow the scriptural procedure (śāstra-vidhi).
