तारकस्य वधार्थाय उत्पन्नोऽसि शिवात्मज । तस्मात्त्वयैव कर्त्तव्य निधनं तारकस्य च
tārakasya vadhārthāya utpanno'si śivātmaja | tasmāttvayaiva karttavya nidhanaṃ tārakasya ca
„Um Tāraka zu töten, bist du geboren, o Sohn Śivas. Darum muss die Vernichtung Tārakas wahrlich von dir allein vollbracht werden.“
