नारद उवाच । पुरा देवैः कृतो यत्नो वधार्थं नात्र संशयः । तवैव चासुरश्रेष्ठ मयोक्तं नान्यथा भवेत्
nārada uvāca | purā devaiḥ kṛto yatno vadhārthaṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ | tavaiva cāsuraśreṣṭha mayoktaṃ nānyathā bhavet
Nārada sprach: „Einst haben die Götter sich bemüht, dich zu töten—daran besteht kein Zweifel. Und, o Bester der Asuras, was ich dir gesagt habe, betrifft wahrhaft dich; es wird nicht anders sein.“
