Transliteration

maheśasya tathā viprāḥ śāṃtipāṭhaparā babhuḥ | brahmaghoṣeṇa mahatā vyāpta māsīddigaṃtaram

Translation

Ebenso wurden die Brāhmaṇas darauf bedacht, die Friedens-Anrufungen (śānti-pāṭha) für Maheśa zu rezitieren; und durch den mächtigen vedischen Ruf (brahma-ghoṣa) wurde die ganze Weite der Himmelsrichtungen erfüllt.
