यथा सृष्टमिदं विश्वं कामक्रोधसमन्वितम् । तत्सर्वं कामरूपं हि स कामो न तु हन्यते

Transliteration

yathā sṛṣṭamidaṃ viśvaṃ kāmakrodhasamanvitam | tatsarvaṃ kāmarūpaṃ hi sa kāmo na tu hanyate

Translation

Da dieses Universum mit Verlangen und Zorn durchwoben erschaffen wurde, ist alles wahrlich von der Gestalt des Verlangens; darum kann jener Kāma nicht wirklich getötet werden.
