देवा ऊचुः । त्वया सृष्टमिदं सर्वं जगद्देव चराचरम् । त्रातुमर्हसि देवान्नस्त्वदन्यो नोपपद्यते
devā ūcuḥ | tvayā sṛṣṭamidaṃ sarvaṃ jagaddeva carācaram | trātumarhasi devānnastvadanyo nopapadyate
Die Götter sprachen: „O Herr, dieses ganze Weltall, das Bewegte und das Unbewegte, ist von dir erschaffen. Du sollst uns, die Devas, schützen; denn außer dir ist keiner dafür geeignet.“
