अप्रमात्ताश्च ये नित्यं शिवध्यानपरायणाः । ते प्रियाः शंकरस्यैव हित्वा कर्मफलानि वै । केवलं ज्ञानमाश्रित्य ते यांति परमं पदम्

apramāttāśca ye nityaṃ śivadhyānaparāyaṇāḥ | te priyāḥ śaṃkarasyaiva hitvā karmaphalāni vai | kevalaṃ jñānamāśritya te yāṃti paramaṃ padam

„Die stets Wachsamen, die unablässig der Meditation über Śiva hingegeben sind, sind wahrhaft Śaṅkara lieb. Indem sie die Anhaftung an die Früchte des Handelns aufgeben und allein im befreienden Wissen Zuflucht nehmen, gelangen sie zum höchsten Stand.“
