हे बटो पंडितो भूत्वा यदुक्तं वचनं पुरा । शिशुत्वात्तन्न जानासि श्रुत्वा मन्ये यथार्थतः
he baṭo paṃḍito bhūtvā yaduktaṃ vacanaṃ purā | śiśutvāttanna jānāsi śrutvā manye yathārthataḥ
„O Knabe! Obgleich du gelehrt geworden bist, wiederholst du Worte, die einst gesprochen wurden; doch weil du noch ein Kind bist, erfasst du sie nicht wahrhaft—so erkenne ich, nachdem ich dich gehört habe, den wirklichen Sinn.“
