तेन दृष्टो महेन्द्रश्च महेंद्रेण महासुरः । देवानां दानवानां च दर्शनं च महाद्भुतम्

Transliteration

tena dṛṣṭo mahendraśca maheṃdreṇa mahāsuraḥ | devānāṃ dānavānāṃ ca darśanaṃ ca mahādbhutam

Translation

Von ihm wurde Mahendra (Indra) erblickt, und von Mahendra wurde jener große Asura erblickt. Der Anblick von Göttern und Dānavas, einander gegenüberstehend, war wahrhaft wundersam.
