Transliteration

nyāyopārjitavittena daśamāṃśena dhīmatā | kartavyo viniyogaśca īśaprītyarthahetave

Translation

Mit rechtmäßig erworbenem Vermögen soll der Weise den zehnten Teil beiseitelegen und ihn gebührend verwenden, um Īśa, den Herrn, zu erfreuen; darin liegt Sinn und Ursache dieser Gabe.
