नमस्कृत्य वचोऽवोचमिति भाव्यर्थनोदितः । तथा मतिस्तथा मित्रं व्यवसायस्तथा नृणाम्
namaskṛtya vaco'vocamiti bhāvyarthanoditaḥ | tathā matistathā mitraṃ vyavasāyastathā nṛṇām
Nachdem ich mich ehrfürchtig verneigt hatte, sprach ich, angetrieben von dem Ziel, das ich im Sinn trug. Denn bei den Menschen ist es so: so ist der Geist, so die Gefährten, die man wählt, und so das Vorhaben, das man ergreift.
