FAQs

Consecrating and honoring a sacred place with proper installation brings divine approval and lasting sanctity.

A specific “sthānaka” (holy station) within the Kaumārikākhaṇḍa narrative is being sanctified; the verse emphasizes the act of installation rather than naming a famous pan-Indian tīrtha in this snippet.

Pratiṣṭhā/saṃsthāpana—formal installation or enshrinement—performed by a sage, leading to the satisfaction of the deities.
