nāsti mātṛsamaṃ trāṇaṃ nāsti mātṛsamā prapā | kukṣisaṃdhāraṇāddhātrī jananājjananī tathā
Es gibt keinen Schutz, der der Mutter gleicht; es gibt keine Ruhestätte wie die Mutter. Weil sie im Schoß trägt, heißt sie Dhātrī (die Erhalterin), und weil sie gebiert, heißt sie Jananī (die Mutter).
