Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 10

नारद उवाच । समासात्तव वक्ष्यामि योगतत्त्वं कुरूद्वह । श्रवणादपि नैर्मल्यं यस्य स्यात्सेवनात्किमु

nārada uvāca | samāsāttava vakṣyāmi yogatattvaṃ kurūdvaha | śravaṇādapi nairmalyaṃ yasya syātsevanātkimu

Nārada sprach: „O Bester der Kurus, ich werde dir kurz die Wahrheit des Yoga darlegen. Wenn schon das bloße Hören Reinheit schenkt, was soll man erst von seiner Ausübung sagen?“
