Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 78

श्रीसूर्यं श्रीमहादेवं भक्ता ये पुरुषोत्तमम् । जन्मप्रभृति ते यांति पूज्यमाना यमानुगैः

śrīsūryaṃ śrīmahādevaṃ bhaktā ye puruṣottamam | janmaprabhṛti te yāṃti pūjyamānā yamānugaiḥ

Die Bhaktas, die dem ruhmreichen Sonnengott, Śrī Mahādeva und dem höchsten Purusha, Puruṣottama, ergeben sind—seit ihrer Geburt schreiten sie voran, geehrt sogar von Yamas Gefolgsleuten.
