ते चाहुर्दुःखदाः ख्याताः प्रश्रास्ते कुर्महे नमः । इत्यहं सकलां पृथ्वीं विचिंत्यालब्धब्राह्मणः
te cāhurduḥkhadāḥ khyātāḥ praśrāste kurmahe namaḥ | ityahaṃ sakalāṃ pṛthvīṃ viciṃtyālabdhabrāhmaṇaḥ
Und sie sprachen: „Diese Fragen sind als Spender von Leid bekannt; vor diesen Fragen verneigen wir uns.“ So fand ich, nachdem ich die ganze Erde erwogen hatte, keinen solchen Brahmanen (der antworten konnte).
