ततस्त्वेवं वर्ततोऽस्य नंदभद्रस्य धीमतः । एकोऽभूत्तयः कष्टाद्वार्धिके सोऽप्यनश्यत
tatastvevaṃ vartato'sya naṃdabhadrasya dhīmataḥ | eko'bhūttayaḥ kaṣṭādvārdhike so'pyanaśyata
Dann, als der weise Nandabhadra weiterhin so lebte, wurde ihm ein einziger Sohn geboren; doch durch Unglück ging auch dieses Kind noch im Säuglingsalter zugrunde.
