Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 79

निष्ठीवने कृते तेषां सवितुः पुरतः स्थिते । शोणितं दृश्यते यस्य तमशुद्धं विनिर्दिशेत्

Transliteration

niṣṭhīvane kṛte teṣāṃ savituḥ purataḥ sthite | śoṇitaṃ dṛśyate yasya tamaśuddhaṃ vinirdiśet

Translation

Ist das Spuckritual vollzogen, während man vor Savitṛ (der Sonne) steht, und sieht man bei jemandem Blut im Speichel, so soll dieser als unrein erklärt werden (nicht freigesprochen).
