भास्करार्घं विना पातः कृतं सर्वं च निष्फलम् । तस्याहं श्रोतुमिच्छामि विधिं विधिविदां वर
bhāskarārghaṃ vinā pātaḥ kṛtaṃ sarvaṃ ca niṣphalam | tasyāhaṃ śrotumicchāmi vidhiṃ vidhividāṃ vara
Ohne Arghya-Darbringung an Bhāskara (die Sonne) wird jedes heilige Rezitieren und jede vollzogene Observanz fruchtlos. Darum wünsche ich die rechte Vorschrift zu hören, o Bester unter den Kennern der Riten.
