यद्दुःखं जायते तस्य तद्गर्भेऽष्टगुणं भवेत् । इत्येतद्गर्भदुःखं हि प्राणिनां परिकीर्तितम्

Transliteration

yadduḥkhaṃ jāyate tasya tadgarbhe'ṣṭaguṇaṃ bhavet | ityetadgarbhaduḥkhaṃ hi prāṇināṃ parikīrtitam

Translation

Welches Leid auch immer einem Wesen entsteht, eben dieses Leid wird im Mutterleib achtfach. So wird dieses „Leid im Schoß“ der Lebewesen verkündet.
