Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 45

मूर्खाचरितमेतद्धि मन्मातुरुचितं न हि । अन्यत्संसारसारं च सारमन्यच्च मोहिताः

mūrkhācaritametaddhi manmāturucitaṃ na hi | anyatsaṃsārasāraṃ ca sāramanyacca mohitāḥ

FAQs

It condemns foolish attachment and urges discernment: what people call the ‘essence’ of life is often misidentified due to delusion.

No site is named; the verse is ethical-philosophical rather than a tīrtha-māhātmya passage.

None; the focus is on correcting deluded valuation and cultivating viveka (discrimination).
