मातः स्वसरथो पुत्रि आर्येति च वदेद्बुधः । उचछिष्टो नालभेत्किंचिन्न च सूर्यं विलोकयेत्
mātaḥ svasaratho putri āryeti ca vadedbudhaḥ | ucachiṣṭo nālabhetkiṃcinna ca sūryaṃ vilokayet
Der Weise soll (Frauen) ehrerbietig anreden: „Mutter“, „Schwester“, „Tochter“ oder „edle Dame“. Solange er im Zustand nach dem Essen ist (mit Resten und Unreinheit), soll er nichts berühren und nicht zur Sonne blicken.
