सुहृद्वत्प्रतिबोध्यैनं प्रवर्तयति तत्त्वतः । काव्यालापादिकं यच्च कांतासंमतमुच्यते
suhṛdvatpratibodhyainaṃ pravartayati tattvataḥ | kāvyālāpādikaṃ yacca kāṃtāsaṃmatamucyate
Man soll ihn wie ein wahrer Wohlgesinnter, wie ein Freund (su-hṛt), belehren und ihn in Wahrheit auf den Pfad der Wirklichkeit führen. Und was immer aus dichterischer Rede, Gesprächen und dergleichen besteht—wenn es von der Geliebten (kāntā), das heißt von der Edlen und Einsichtigen, gebilligt ist—gilt als annehmbar.
