इदं चेदं तीर्थमिति सदा यस्तृषितश्चरेत् । न स सिद्धिमवाप्नोति क्लेशेनैव म्रियेत सः
idaṃ cedaṃ tīrthamiti sadā yastṛṣitaścaret | na sa siddhimavāpnoti kleśenaiva mriyeta saḥ
Wer, vom Verlangen getrieben, unablässig umherzieht und stets sagt: „Dies ist ein Tīrtha, das ist ein Tīrtha“, erlangt keine geistige Vollendung; er stürbe nur in Mühsal.
